SPE AVIVAC’s product portfolio has expanded to include “AVIVAC-METAPNEUMO”, a live dry vaccine against avian metapneumovirus infection.

 

The vaccine is prepared from the cultural fluid of Vero cells infected with avian metapneumovirus strain PV03-B and also contains stabiliser (hydrolysed lactalbumin, sucrose and gelatose). The vaccine stimulates an immune response to avian metapneumovirus in chickens within 21 days post immunization, which lasts longer than 60 days after single administration and longer than 120 days after revaccination.
