«AVIVAC-IB» strain H-120

About the product

«AVIVAC-IB» is a live dry vaccine against avian infectious bronchitis based on virus strain H-120 (Massachusetts serotype).

The vaccine has the appearance of a homogenous dry pale yellow or pale brown porous substance that easily dissolves in water or normal saline without forming flakes or sediment. The vaccine is available in hermetically sealed vials containing 1 cm3 to 5cm3 of the product. Each vial contains 100 to 5000 doses.

Biological properties
One commercial dose of the vaccine equals 3,5 lg EID50/cm3. Immunity in vaccinated chickens forms over a period of 2 to 3 weeks after double vaccination and lasts not less than 3 months. The vaccine is suitable for use if its activity is at least 6,0 lg EID/TCID50/cm3. The vaccine is innocuous and non-reactogenic; it possesses no therapeutic properties.

Indications for use

Clinically healthy birds of all ages are subject to vaccination depending on the epizootic situation on IB. Birds are vaccinated twice at an interval of 10 to 14 days orally, intranasally, intraocularly or via coarse spray.

Storage requirements

The shelf life of the vaccine is 12 months from the date of manufacture if stored and transported in a dark dry place at a temperature between +2 and +10°С.
